| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 8, 2005 Dark rosy chestnut in color, translucent when put to light, and a thin, creamy tan head. Nice bitter chocolate aroma with some medium roast coffee and semi-sweet chocolate chips rounding it out. Medium to full-bodied. Flavor is chock full of chocolate: chocolate morsels, cocoa powder, chocolate-chocolate chip cookies and chocolate pound cake. A chocolate monster, almost milky. Nicely done, and probably this brewery’s best. Got Stout? (173), Wisconsin, USA
