Dull-looking watery golden appearance, small diminishing head, big bubbles. Very sweet, smooth and fresh nose and flavor, slightly "corny" though this organic brew claims only barley; boring but very quaffable and smooth.

50 cL bottle. Pours golden clear yellow with a crispy white head. Dusty grain aroma with a distinct bitterness. Carbonated mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet malty with a nice blend of the bitterhops into the finish. Ends mellow dry with a persisting light malt note.

0.5 l bottle found at Bio-Bio shop here in Split (great thanks Doggythedog for the tip!). It poured pale yellow body with almost no head. Aroma is very different than other lagers, corn, some malts and just a bit of citrus hops. Flavor is bitterish, sweetish a bit. Medium bodied, but goes down smoothly. Average carbonation. Finish is a bit sweet. Quite good beer, although nothing too special.

Bottled 0,50L. Voluminous and compact head, good duration. Limpid yellow color, medium fizz. Stinging and bitterish scent; notes of cereals, fresh grass and dampen malt. Prickly taste, nearly sour (I do not find the definition), with pleasant sourness and final alcohol. Not much persistent.

0.5l bottle from a bioshop in Zagreb (thanks again to ozujsko for the tip!)
Right, I forgot to say this in the Pils review, but both of these are brewed by some brewery called Aktienbrauerei Simmerberg for the Rapunzel Naturkost. I’ll do some research, and send corrections if necessary.

Now, onto the beer. It poured a big thick white head that went away fast (smaller but thicker than the Pils head), leaving a lot of nice lacing on the edges of the glass. Slightly hazy golden colour. Looked promising until I smelled it.... Remarkably n/a-ish malt nose. I agree with muzzlehatch on the corny part... something just felt odd. The taste was interesting, but in my opinion not as good as in the Pils. One rather assertive, and interesting kind of malt dominates the taste going from honey to strong caramel to nuts. Sounds impressive, but in practice, it isn’t, some fruitiness in the background, provided perhaps by the same kind of malt as in the Pils. No noticable hops, exept maybe some extremely faint hints in the aftertaste. Interesting beer, but not great.
