Malty sweetish flavor, some bready and some candy. Biddle_Brau (135), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Jun 15, 2008 Poured amber with little to no prominent aroma. Mildly sweet with hops barely showing up. Sampled at Stoudts 17th Annual Microfest: June 2008 mctous (100), Herndon, Virginia, USA Jun 12, 2008 Raven smells bready and grainy and pours a cloudy light amber. Sweet malt dominates the flavor, chased by light but firm noble hops. Some sourness detracts from the palate. Malt and hops balance well in the short finish, but the texture lacks body. Raven would be good at half the price--then it would be Yuengling.
