Bottle courtesy of beachbum25. Pours copper with a nice white head. Smells of caramel, light spice, earthy. Tastes semi sweet with some rosey hints, touches of juniper and an earthy finish.

Poured amber with little to no prominent aroma. Mildly sweet with hops barely showing up. Sampled at Stoudts 17th Annual Microfest: June 2008

Raven smells bready and grainy and pours a cloudy light amber. Sweet malt dominates the flavor, chased by light but firm noble hops. Some sourness detracts from the palate. Malt and hops balance well in the short finish, but the texture lacks body. Raven would be good at half the price--then it would be Yuengling.
