Feb 11, 2008 On draft at brewery, 02/11/08. Dark brown with deep ruby highlights. Small foamy head. Coffee aroma. Flavor is roasted coffee with chocolate bitterness. A little lingering bitterness and then from out of nowhere, a clean finish. A one note flavor, but they picked a decent note.

Jan 20, 2008 Pours dark brown with a velvetty white head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. The flavor is similar. A very roasty porter. Lots of coffee in this one with a touch of sweet chocolate in the back end. Body is medium. Has a lingering roasty finish. The most well made beer from these guys in eons. It is probably contracted.
