acrdz (4249), Pennsylvania, USA May 6, 2007 Updated: May 9, 2007Bottle purchased at Astor Liquor. Decent leafy honey hop nose, mostly grainy malts smelled though. Plain, unimposing cracker and grass flavor, not sour or urine-like, only lightly sweet, fresh I guess, but really nothing exciting and completely forgettable. JPDIPSO (4210), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 22, 2007 Straw color with a off-white full, but yet somewhat fizzy head. Corn boiling on the stove with a few hop cones added just to see if anyone would notice. Quite sweet flavors, again I am taken by a dextrin side note. Not much crispness or noble hops. Actually some light fruit and bananas noted in the finish. There are some white pepper noted in the finish and linger as well. This is an average pale lager at best, not many pilsner qualities noted. heemer77 (3634), Savannah, Missouri, USA Mar 30, 2007 From a bottle purchased at Lukas Liquors in KC. The beer pours with a medium gold body and a quickly dissapating head. The aroma is sweet potatoes and carrots. There is also a hint of black pepper. The taste is strong parsnips along with a little bit of black pepper spice in the finish. The body is smooth and light. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Apr 30, 2008 Bottle. I suspected this was an AB product, but wasn’t sure until now. This pours with a nice robust golden color, but virtually no head. There’s just a hint of an aroma, lightly starchy, lightly grapey. It drinks with a light buttery character, inoffensive in any way. Not overly malty, but without any notable character either. (#3442, 4/30/2008) Eyedrinkale (3102), Beer Town, New York, USA Jun 16, 2007 Bottle, courtesy of Marys moms fridge. Swilled right from the bottle, so appearance isnt an issue. Taste is lightly sweet with a fine malt flavor. Crispy hops balance it out nicely Theres a touch of fruit, like grape thats a bit weird but not a bad brew at all.
