| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 2, 2009 Bottle shared with barrios. Pours a murky dark gold with some particulate and ample offwhite head and some lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet with a weak floral hop. Suprisingly sweet with an appley flavor. Fair hop bitterness on the tail end and a lingering dry bitter finish that I didnt care for too much. Actually enjoyable, but WAY overpriced at $7 a bottle. Barrios (858), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 12, 2008 Bottle: Pours a copper color with pillowy off white head. Very herbal aroma- almost woody with spicy tea-leaf suggestions. The body is creamy with a cask like feel. Lots of spicy herbal character in the fore flavor. Something about the flavor-when it warms- reminds me slightly of oaky Kentucky Bourbon without the sweetness. There is some bitter fruit skin in there as well with lots of woody notes and spicy herbal qualities. Very unique beer. One of the ones you hate at first, and cannot really figure out, but like more with each sip. Travlr (727), Washington, Washington DC, USA
