| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 30, 2008 Hazy orange, Aroma is predominantly herbal ginger wine as advertised on the label. There is also sweet lemon and belgian yeasty coriander, The head poured into a UK pint tremendously with tiny beige bubbles, so much so it looks like it would be more at home in a tulip glass. There is a sweet cookie flavour amongst the spice with dryness afterwards but not as complex as i thought. A good christmasy type ale though. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA
