Nov 16, 2007 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet combined with a slight acidic touch and notes of berries, malt, and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of peaches and mangos, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin inspite of the 6% ABV - perhaps lacking a bit of residual sugar.

Jun 19, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Fruity aroma with a hint of ginger. Fairly full-bodied with lightly sweet malt notes and then a solid dose of ginger. The finish is somewhat astringent. 120507

50 cL bottle (Wessex Craft Ale Mary). Pours slight hazy orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is spiced, ginger, cloves and coriander. Slight acidic aroma. Flavour is floral towards a sweet caramel flavour. A slight spiced note can be sensed with a mild sweet note. Ends with slight herbal and hoppy dryness. Has a slight soapy note. Nice.6-3-6-3-12=3

Mar 4, 2003 Bottled. Copper coloured with rich, firm head. Intense spicy aroma, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger plus fruit and berries. Sweet and boldly malty with punch of rhum and a salty bitter finish. Solid.

Unclear hazy medium amber orange color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lancing, fully diminishing, head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, corriander, raisin, alcohol - rom. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. (170508)

Jun 29, 2007 Bottle, 6.0% at KØ07. Spicy aroma with a little ginger. Hazy golden colour, very small head. Quite nice spicy flavour, again reminding me of ginger.

Jul 11, 2009 Bottled. A bit hazy reddish amber colour with small creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is mild alcohol, some spices, mild fruity and flowery notes as well as some plum(pudding) and sweetness. Flavour is sweet malts, some spices, mild hoppy notes. A bit plummy/raisiny sweetness as well. Pleasant. One of the more spicies English beers I have had.
