Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
A railway themed name after the name for two engines pulling a train. A golden brew made only with pale ale malt and goldings hops giving it a well balanced hoppy flavour. Very drinkable - beware!!

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 20/6/08. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of caramel, elderflowers and citrus hops. Flavour began with a touch of sweet malt followed by spicy hops with a hint of pine. The finish was long and satisfyingly dry. Very good.

(Real ale) Pours a little hazy, copperish colour. Very multi-dimensional taste. Has hops with notes of fruits and spices. A bit grassy end. Quite bitter. An excellent brew.

[cask] Sherry, oak, bourbony vanilla aroma. Almost clear deep gold with lasting bubbles on top. Boubon and vanilla are strong in the flavour together with a medicinal chocolate. Assertive bitterness that almost puts this beer off balance. Very low diacetyl. Light to medium body with a tiny bit of lasting bitterness. Slightly more carbonation than some other cask beers.

Half, cask conditioned at great Turf Tavern in Oxford. Clear amber body under a filmy white layer. Smell of dried fruit. Apricot jam and marmalade taste with a bitter fruity finish. Good mouth feel and well bodied (17.03.2008)
