Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
A railway themed name after the name for two engines pulling a train. A golden brew made only with pale ale malt and goldings hops giving it a well balanced hoppy flavour. Very drinkable - beware!!

Orange marmalade colour with a small white head. Sweet hoppy aroma. Rather fizzy. The taste is fruity: grapefruit, with a little alcohol and a bitterness that reminded me of a good IPA. 22.12.07 Thought the taste was more malty and very sweet.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml. Golden beer with white bubbly head. The beerhas a sharpish, pine needle aroma and taste but also a treacley note too. Quite complex in its impact, but the flavours work well together. Lasting and bitter throughout the beer, quite an enjoyable and interesting beer.

1. Cask Stillage at the Memorial Hall, Northwich 21/09/2002 Golden coloured initially hoppy and bitter. Strong alcohol gives a warming finish with the hops still present. 2. Cask Handpump at the Richard Hopkins, Newton Abbot (JDW) 16/06/2003 Clear golden coloured with some sour fruit flavour. Slightly bitter dry full malt finish.

Golden color, huge head. Good ale, with some malt in the beginning, drier later, with a nice (dry) hoppy character (old hops).
