Jan 12, 2007 had this at Max’s it is a great cask conditoned beer, it had a nice creamy mouth feel with an great taste of malt and spice flavors

Jul 15, 2006 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Chelmsford BF. An amber coloured beer witha sweet slightly vinuous aroma with some toffee notes also. The taste is malty sweet and warming. A chewy tasty well brewed English Strong ale.

May 30, 2006 Bottled Herefordshire. Reddy brown coloured, some hops and malt present in the aroma but not too much, malty and pleasantly bitter this was a good if unspectacular ale.

Mar 18, 2006 Smells like dirty socks with some floral elements. Pours cloudy with no head. Flavour is slightly better than the smell, but not amazing, and is finished by a thin, weak mouthfeel and an astringent, cloying aftertaste. Not to my taste.
