Medium-sized off-white and perhaps a little brown head. Head is creamy, but with a few biggish bubbles. Gentle crisp malty aroma with a dose of minty hops. Soft mouthfeel. Rich bready flavours that are nicely balanced by grassy and clean minty hop bitterness. Peaty nose. Fin (3460), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Not as hoppy as I was hoping and lacking any oomph... in fact lacking a little in all departments but overall It pulled through a bit better and would make a reasonable if unexciting session bitter. A5 A4 F5 P3 Ov12 2.9 Had this again at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 17-08-09 Pours amber with a thin white head. The aroma is a touch malty and with some lingering caramel. tangy and fruity beer with a reasonable bitterness and bite considering the low abv. Its fine and a good little session ale and better than when I had last time so an upward moving re-rate. A6 A4 F6 P3 Ov13 3.2 imdownthepub (5172), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
