Cask (Kitty’s, Helsinki) Rich orange, dough head. Rich chocolatey aroma. Big nutty hoppy taste. Slightly watery, but only to an extent that the beer’s refreshing rather than sticky. Body also has richly roasted malt, some tinges of burntness too. Tasty nutty finish. Very solid English bitter - excellent for 3.6%

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Kent Beer Festival. Mid brown colour. Hoppy tobacco aroma with some slight sweetness. Flavour is similar with a lovely bitterness around the edges. Slightly tangy finish.

Cask conditioned at Far from The Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber brown colour with white bubbly head. Thinnish bittersweet session bitter with a light flowery, perfumey note. Some perfumed hop in the finish, a reasonable boyd bitter.

Dark amber color with good off-white head. Strong honeyish hoppy aroma. Malty but quite pale malty and hoppy, but not aggressive for IPA. Licorice notes. Light as you can expect from 3.6 % beer but ok for sessions.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small off white head. Sweet fruitiness in the aroma, perhaps raspberry or lemon barley water. Rounded malty taste with some pear drops and a mid bitter finish. Well, I quite liked it.
