Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
In the old brewery we had a problem with slugs getting into the brewery. As the beer leaves a trail down the glass as you drink it like a slug, that's how the beer was named. A delicious traditional porter with a full bodied taste of chocolate, coffee, blackcurrant and black cherry with a good aroma. A near black colour with a good white head when served through a tight sparkler.
Pale malt, crystal malt, black malt; Fuggles and Goldings hops.

Cask conditioned at the Inn on the Green, Bristol. Near black with slight, tan head. Aroma was of bitter chocolate with a hint of roasted coffee. Flavours were of black fruit and more chocolate, with a decent bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottled. Sampled at Monks Café, Stockholm. Almost black colour, bubbly head. Cocoa, dried fruits in aroma, and light - little Guinness feel to it. Medium bodied with light toast and fruity. Like the Guinness. Good pronounced cocoa and dry finish.

500 Ml Bottle-Pours a very dark mahogany red w/a moderate tan bubbly head. Had a little bit of a hopped/carbinated aroma. Decent flavored porter, some traces of chocolate & burnt malt, with a little bit of a carbinated/coffee flavor to it. Kind of thin, but had a long rich finish. Solid, not spectacular.
