Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
In the old brewery we had a problem with slugs getting into the brewery. As the beer leaves a trail down the glass as you drink it like a slug, that's how the beer was named. A delicious traditional porter with a full bodied taste of chocolate, coffee, blackcurrant and black cherry with a good aroma. A near black colour with a good white head when served through a tight sparkler.
Pale malt, crystal malt, black malt; Fuggles and Goldings hops.

Bottle. Bitter, malt and liquor aroma. Black in colour, Decent frothy, crispy off white head. Smoked flavour with a little bit of coffee. Little thin than I would have preferred.

Dark brown with an off white head. Had a sweet honey smell. Tasted of sweet malt, treacle, and coffee. There was lacing on the glass and was quite an enjoyable drink much nicer than i expected.

Cask @ Beer Hunter’s, Pori. Dark ruby brown, white lacing big bubbled head. Nose is roasted malts, little coffee and cocoa, nicely soft and dry. Softly burned flavor, quite strong bittering hops, soothing cocoa finish. Medium bodied, easy flat palate. Smooth stuff, it’s a keeper.

500ml bottle. Pours a deep brown with a 1/2" tan head and moderate lacing. Nose was sweet chocolate with a bit of wood in the background. Nice smooth palate with low carbonation. Flavors are bakers chocolate, roasted malt and very little hop. A decent, but not outstanding porter.

Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Weak aroma mostly of caramel. Dry and malty flavour.
