Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned as On The Tiles.
The first beer brewed on the new site with the new plant. The name comes from Paul Davey M.D. and Graham Dunbavan Brewer and the Steam as we now had a steam boiler to heat the copper. This complex multi layered ale has a floral hop aroma with medium bodied hop, bitter taste with some fruit and sweetness.

Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London on 7th October 2009. Amber with small white head that laces well initially. Grassy hop aromas; good hoppy bitter focus in main kick and a dry, hoppy finish. The mouthfeel is slightly textured and all in all this is a good, refreshing session ale.

bottle, On the tiles. Shared at a beer session in Tårnrommet, Tromsø. (29.01.09) Hazy brown-orange colour. Aroma of decomposing leaves and wet grass. Thin in the mouth. Rancid, with a hint of soap, dust and charcoal at the end.

Don’t understand this different naming aliases... but mine is "On the tiles". Quite average english bitter. Hazy brown-orange body filled with yeast particles. Light roasted malt. Caramel, fruits, herbal. Vanilla notes. Little soft and long lasting bitter. Light carbonation. Bit watery.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Alc. 4.0%. [ as RCH On The Tiles ]. Light unclear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, nutty, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (160808)

500 ml bottle. Amber with a weak haze. Medium-sized white fluffy head that clings to the glass. Light cidic biscuity aroma. Soft carbonation. Powdery nutty flavours with hints of dark chocolate. Cacao powder texture. Peppery. Watery mouthfeel, but quite a few things are happening on the palate, so it’s quite nice afterall. Lingering earthy hop biterness that lasts all the way through.

JDW @ Victoria Station. Amber with an off white foam, obviously sparkled. Sweet and malty with some slightly metallic, grassy hops that linger in the finish. Not so bad really.

Handpulled cask at JDW Hatch End, Harrow. Light brown with good white head. Some vanilla notes leading to a fruity bitter finnish. Nothing to write home about but drinkable and refreshing.
