It pours a bit unclear, golden color, and a creamy, off-white head with good retention and it leaves nice lacings. Sediments in the bottle leaves you with a lot of floaties. The aroma is disappointingly weak, first I thought my beer was too cold, but letting it get warmer doesn’t help much. It has a fruity and slightly piney hoppiness, but that’s almost it. A very weak grainy or malty note is also there. The flavor is very much like the aroma, weak and hoppy that is. It finishes with a nice bitterness, but before that, there’s not much but fruity and piney hops, giving some bitterness. A medium body makes it rather quaffable, but it certainly isn’t a beer to enjoy if you want a real treat. (070829) M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Coffee and chocolate malts dominate the nose. Some sweaty tones. Mouth is sour lactic malt, hoppy. Some citrus fruit lightness. Slightly sweet and dry, with a baked bean taste right at the back. Alright, but a bit weird. OleR (2106), Oslo, Norway

Almost full malty with a well prononced hopbitterness. Good body. Hoppy end. Simple and down to earth, still tasty and flavorfull. Gethinbeer (1006), Nova Scotia, Canada

From the appearance I thought this was going to be poor, but again turned out rather good. Cloudy appearance, orangey yellow in colour. With a mushy, muddy snow head. Smooth texture, fruit, spice. Rich flavour. Tangy finish. Nice beer. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Bottle. Very muted aroma with only the faintest fruit and hop notes. The body is a dingy yellow/gold and holds a wonderful looking two finger thick head that froths up like a well whipped cappuccino. Light bodied at first sip, but seems to thicken as you move the liquid to the back of your mouth. The fore features mild watery apple juice notes with a hint of herbal and hop bitterness and a fairly biting crispness despite a low carbonation level. Mild grassy notes in the finish. Orangy gold, thin lose head. Not much aroma, hints of beer ingredients maybe. Big bold malt and hop combo - mushrooms and a bit of pepper maybe. Some pumpkin too. Long bitter finish.
