0.5l bottle. Yellow with a nice white head, floaties. Hoppy aroma, with grapefruit notes. Flavor is very hoppy and bitter for a light beer. Some pale malt character comes through. Decent body. Very light and drinkable, with a good amount of flavor.

This is a tasty bitter. Golden and hazy with lots of yeasty residue and a slender white head, this has a splendid flowery and orange aroma coupled with that of pears and apples. It’s got a light, sweet malt taste with a hop bitterness that slowly rises to prominence in the mouth. Quite a dry, mildly bitter finish. A great candidate for a session ale.

Bottle conditioned, from Sainsburys. Hazy amber gold, thin white head and low condition. Sweet malt, pleasantly flowery hop and traces of pine resin aromas, quite sweet in the mouth with gentle bitter hops becoming dominant with time. Lingering yeasty dry bitterness in the finish with traces of chalkiness.

Straight from the Cask at the Burton Winter Beer Festival on Sat 29th Jan. Clear Golden colour. A cracking wheaty aftertaste to this one. Quite bready & bitter

Cask - malt and some floural hop in the nose. Beautiful golden color with a white, white head. The flavor is amazing for such a small beer! Started malty. As I proceeded down the glass and it warmed the hops came charging to the front, hitting me at both sides of the tongue. Palate was very smooth and soft. This is a beautiful - and underrated - beer!

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Dark golden. Vague grassy hoppy aroma. Grasswy hops in flavour, hints of orange-peels and yeast. Long grassy bitter finish. Quite thin body.

Bottle pours a rather pale color with a monster head that rises out of the glass and stands proud and laces like a Belgian. The aroma is floral and understated. The flavor is slightly sweet, with a long lingering bitterness. The palate is a bit over carbonated and somewhat off. Overall, I’m not very impressed.
