Bottle. Cloudy orange color with a sandy and dense head that lasts forever. Hops and grass in the aroma. Very floral, fresh. Flavor is decent - light bitter finish, good hops. Very easy to drink. Tastes good, smells better.

From the Bottle: Rich, malty, and sweet aroma...but a hint of sour. Big head that goes beyond the top of the glass. Crisp hops with a dry sweetness flavor. Full and meaty mouthfeel.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very hazy golden with lots of impurities and a dense, off-white head that leaves some lacework. Lightly citrusy aroma. Medium body with notes of nuts and citrus and a somewhat astringent, leathery bitterness. 101207

Very pale golden beer. Aroma is lightly sulfurous. Herbal and lightly grassy. Quite noble smelling but lacks the zesty character that a beer like this could show off. Light Goldings-esqe spiciness with a kiss of lemony citrus behind the earthy pale malts.

Bottle 500ml from Waitrose, Lymington. Pours an orangey/amber, slightly cloudy, with a good off-white head. A citrussy hoppy aroma, with a hint of caramel, greets the nose. Nothing overly special about the flavour, just a good honest pint with a fine caramel malt and a decent finish. A good session beer.

on cask at 3 judges, glasgow. amber, light head, worrying aroma of burning rubber and licorice, hints of golden syrup but the main flavor was of baked beans and brown sauce. maybe ok as a breakfast beer

The Old Fourpenny Shop, Warwick. Straw pint with a slight haze. Pine and citrussy hop aroma. Pale malt background giving way to juicy tangerine hop goodness. A trace of biscuit. Stillish, citrussy and solid. The Griffin Inn, Shustoke. Ripe peardroppy aroma with good leafy hops. TT? Great-smelling beer. Lingering oaty biscuit, Hobnob, nip of sherbety yeast? Marzipan hint again. Very CE-like soft maltiness and clinging lace. Doesn’t quite follow through, but solid. 14 again.

on cask @ The Old Green Tree, Bath. Light gold in colour with strong grassy/earthy hop aromatics. Flavors of somewhat grainy pale malts, colorphyll, and more grassy hops. Moderate bitterness, and a very nice mouthfeel. Good stuff.
