Comments: A soft and rather tasty bitter that wins a lot of points from its appearance and smoothness.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2007 500ml bottle from Centra, Oslo. Pours a creamy, dense foam with moderate duration and great lacing. The body is getting cloudy with the last pour, otherwise clear, amber in colour. Very nice appearance, indeed. Light malty sweetness lies at the heart of the aroma. The flavour brings more soft malts, some yeast and hops with smooth bitterness on the swallow. Quite refreshing, classic English bitter (Oslo, 20.08.2007). Beer2000 (1828), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 5, 2007 500 ml bottle. Dark golden body with a big off-white head. Gentle malt and hop aroma. Flavor is a very pleasant malt and hop mix. Quite straight forward and nice bitter. Impressive balanced at low alcohol. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

Lots of lovely malt flavour married with flowery hoppiness. Very well balanced, a fine English bitter. Maria (6309), Thisted, Denmark

The flavour is rather thin and dry, I find notes of sweetish malt, apple (as I have found in many RCH’s today), a hint of citrus (grapefruit), and the bitterness is a bit stale, dusty and limited. 2147 cgarvieuk (4212), Edinburgh, Scotland
