maeib (4677), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Oct 23, 2009 Cask conditioned handpump Turf Tavern Oxford. Unfortunately the yeast was totally sludged into the glass making this a complete orange mud soup. What it did mean though was I could drink sufficiently enough and return it for a replacement. And it did actually taste pretty good . It was nice and hoppy with citrus notes throughout. A little sweetness too. One to drink with the eyes closed. imdownthepub (5087), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Oct 17, 2009 Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Amber with slight white head. Quite thinnish for the abv, there are initial sweetish, perfumed notes which then develops into a dry bitterness, with a light acidity. Light finish, reasonable. yespr (11636), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 30, 2008 From cask at Three Judges. Pours clear and golden orange with small white head. Teabag and musty wet paper aroma. Sweet starchy body, some popcorn (not sweet or salty, just the kernels). Some retronasal glue on swirling it around the tongue. Stealth hops - bitter and build up slowly. Leaves a pleasant sweet malt and bitter finish. Well balanced, but simple. downender (2535), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Nov 24, 2007 Cask conditioned at the Old Tavern Bristol 24/11/07. Deep amber with a moderate off-white head.
