Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold with a small white head. Strong pear drop aroma. Taste has grassy hops, sour fruit and a mid bitter finish. Pleasantly unpredictable, busy golden ale. Liked it.

Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Gold with slight white head. Thin bodied, light beer, quite a perfumey hop with a saccharin type aftertaste, a touch on the chemical side. Light and thin finish with a touch of bitterness.

Cask (St. Urho’s Helsinki)
Pale orange, small loose head. Plain grainy aroma, light and a touch gingery too. Slightly mushroomy bitter taste. A touch drying palate, with simple bitterness. A touch simple all round.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 23/06/09. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of grassy hops, sweet malts and yeast. Flavour was much the same, with some summer fruits and a decent bitter finish. Good.
