larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway Jan 18, 2009 Medium very white lasting head. Paleish yellow body. Fruity bubblegum aroma with vanilla notes. Sweetish-dryish banana bubblegum taste. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Thinnish body. Dry wooden fruity aftertaste with metallic notes. Quite nice, but a bit artificial. (0.25l cask, The Carpenter’s Arms, Marble Arch, London.) omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 9, 2009 Updated: Feb 10, 2009Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden. Heavily fruity nose with plenty of dusty butter. Sweet and medium bodied with plenty of chewy fruity malt. The dusty butter gets more toned down after the nose, but lingers on well into the finish. SilkTork (4155), Rochester, Kent, England Jan 27, 2008 JDW - Gatehouse, Highgate. Bready pale session bitter with some pleasant light fruit. A refreshing ale. reakt (938), Greater London, England Jan 2, 2008 Cask @ ’Sporks. Golden with a lasting white head. Malt nose with hints of apples, pears and various other fruits, some subtle floral hops also. Taste is much the same, next... imdownthepub (5089), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Dec 30, 2007 Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Pale Gold with white head. Toffee caramel initially with a faint touch of peach. Then a developing citrusy note, but the beer was a touch off form. Reasonable. Fin (3382), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Dec 30, 2007 Cask at The Penny Black, JDW, Bicester 29-12-07 Light amber in colour with a fruity nose. Taste was also citrusy and fruity, with a nice bite but sadly this beer suffered from being served just a bit to warm (it’s normally quite the opposite in JDW’s I find) It was also a little bit past it’s best.
