Dec 23, 2007 Cask in counting house. Aroma is lager malts and sweetish hints. Taste is similar to be honest reminds me of a really well made can of miller pilsner!

Dec 19, 2007 Cask, The Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Golden with an off-white head. Aromas are soft apricot and melon with biscuit malts. Some citrus with spices, too. Flavours are fruity and soft with sweet lemon. Yeasty and dry on the finish.

Dec 17, 2007 Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes. Gold with a white head. Faint slightly dusty aroma, perhaps some fruit developing. Strong doughy, bready malt taste with unfocused bitterness. But I rather like this.

Dec 9, 2007 Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 9/12/07. This was a standard bitter rather than a Christmas beer. Pale amber colour with a decent white head that left plenty of lacing. A slightly sweet malt aroma with some grassy hops. The flavour also inclined towards sweetness with a decent dry finish. Good.
