Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is toasted, fruity, light hoppy, citrus - grapefruit, acidic. Flavor is moderate sweet, light citrus acidic and burnt caramel bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20081231]

Taste was also citrusy and fruity, with a nice bite but sadly this beer suffered from being served just a bit to warm (it’s normally quite the opposite in JDW’s I find) It was also a little bit past it’s best.
