Cask at the Brunswick, Derby. My final Derby beer, and I was soaking wet from the rain and in danger of missing my train, which was the last direct one home. As I recall this beer was golden with a small white head, had a malty aroma, and tasted sweet with some citric sourness and a little bitterness. Though I could be wrong. But I caught the train.

Cask (Gallows Bird, Helsinki) Rich orange colour, light frothy head. Odd aroma, smells of raw ingredients, a bit messy. Tastes very bitter, and quite malty, but tainted with salty blue cheese and mushrooms.

3 Judges. Aroma is biscuity malt, hints of fruit and spice, but it dies down to grassy hop. Taste is a solid biscuity base with grassy an floiuyral hop flowing through. A decent bitter, but nothign to special.
