Commercial Description:
Caramel brown with a hint of chocolate, Brewhouse Brown melds four kinds of malt to create a satisfying, thirst-quenching brew. Best enjoyed at 55 degrees, this ale is slightly rich and roasty, yet leaves a dry finish. It is the perfect companion for a hearty meal.

Pretty good ale. Has a spicy aroma, and a roasty, malty taste. Finish is very dry. Pretty good for a brown ale. If I ever get a chance to pick this up again, I probably would.

2008 Bottle. Wonderful aroma of caramel, sugar, and nuts. Appears a dark brown with little head. Tastes of alcohol with a wonderful nutty aftertaste with a hint of malt. Palate is perfectly balanced and similar to a belgian ale. Wonderful.

Darker than I expected. Moderate head. Wonderful aroma of chocolate and coffee. Flavor reminds me of non-sweetened chocolate. Very mellow. weighing in price/flavor - 3.9

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a clear brown color with a 3/4 finger thick head. Very light, tiny spotted lacing. Aroma is a toasted caramel malt. Flavor is a lightly sweetened carmel malt. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Still, an easy drinking Brown. Thanks Bill.

Clear garnet with a frothy tan head. Mild aroma is nutty roasted malts. Medium body. Nice flavor is dusty dark malts with some 8 grain wheat bread toastiness. Mildly sweet to finish. Not bad.

There’s a lot of bad brown ales out there, this isn’t one of em’!! This beer pours a pretty dark brown. The nose is roasted malt and a slight dark chocolate too. Taste is of medium roasted coffee beans, and a slight sweetness. A Decent amount of hops keep that sweetness in check!!!! Good Solid Brown!
