Commercial Description:
This light bodied blonde ale is perfectly balanced with a touch of Crystal hops for bittering and aromatics. Fireman's #4 is a great choice on any hot Texas summer day or pair it with spicy foods to help you put out the fire.

Smaple @ Flying Saucer Draught Emporium (Houston). Aroma of grain. Gold body with white head. Spicey notes in the flavor but the wet burnt grain flavor just made this one somewhat different. Odd brew.

Had a bottle at Kerby Lane in Austin. Pours a clear gold with good carbonation. The aroma has Budweizer malt... not a good sign, but there is some crispness and slight hints of fruit and citrus. The flavor is a little better... I can taste the crystal hops and some quenching citrus but not much else. Not a terrible beer... I would probably enjoy it in the summer, but on a cold night it just wasn’t my thing.

I find this a great go too beer. Easy drinking, balanced from start to finish. At a bbq or party this beer is always a hit, not a standout as far as uniqueness but the least offensive to the greatest number. And it has enough ale flavor in this basic blonde to somewhat satiate the occasional well traveled beer snob. A true all rounder for situations needing an easy drinker. I wish I could replace all the American macrobrews with this stuff!

Pours a sparkling golden color with a descent white head. Great hoppy aroma with hints of hay and citrus. Light mouth-feel with good carbonation. Taste starts off sweet and malty, then progresses to a crisp, clean hop finish with a mild bitterness. Great, easy going beer. Try with a spicy avocado bacon burger.

Draft. Poured a clear golden color. the head was white and left some lace behind on the glass. The aroma of of sweet corn, cream, and subdued hay. Light to medium bodied with a smooth mouth feel and lowish carbonation. Delicately sweet without any significant bitterness. I tasted a bit of hay, subdued spicy malt, and some grass clippings. So so.

Bottle courtesy of Kevin poured a hazy gold with alingering ring of white foam. Aromas of bread, light yeast and a hint of straw. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, straw and a hint of fruittiness with a crisplightly sweet finish.
