jeverszeuge (182), Germany Feb 25, 2009 ersma: mein land nummer 23.
PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 16, 2008 Columbia, SC - Total Wine - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour, long lasting white head. Corny aroma, lots of yeast. Flavor is full of corn and yeast with some soggy kids generic supermarket brand cereal. Tired mouthfeel. About what I expected. drewbeerme (2224), Chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 27, 2008 12oz bottle. pours clear straw with small white head. nose is loaded with green apple, with some grain/hay. flavor is pretty awful, fizzy green apple and sour lactic, grain water. just a horrible tasting beer. the worst beer i’ve had in a long time. fro2218 (466), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Sep 28, 2007 Pretty mellow lager. Malty flavor and aroma. simple. not too bad. very little fruit - low bitterness frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Apr 26, 2007 Pours mid-golden, mostly dead with some dusty particulate hanging about, under a large yet fast-fading white head. Aroma of old pale malt and some stale caramel malt with a hint of metallica. Flavor finds adjuncty DMS notes to sweet pale malt with a hint of grassy bitterness. Tastes overshelved because it is (BBE 11/05)... but you have to hold that against the retailer, not the consumer.
I remember hearing that in hot weather you can quench your thirst by sucking on a smooth stone. You may be better off sucking on that "real rock" instead of this one.

igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA Dec 13, 2006 had several bottles in the mini bar in our room. The predominant flavor to me was the cardboardiness...wet paper was abundant. Other than that, not memorable, light-bodied. Strykzone (1459), Wood River, Illinois, USA Aug 6, 2006 Tried to get some of this in Jamaica and even when a Real Rock tap was present there was never any beer available. Only Red Stripe. So lets give one a try back in the States. It pours a nice big soapy head but the aroma is not much to brag about. Well, ok, neither is the beer. It is another Pale Lager that doesn’t have much flavor. Like most of them this one doesn’t taste bad but there just isn’t enough flavor at all. It is easy to drink on a warm beac. If you run out of rum cream, have a Real Rock. kimcgolf (824), Dacula, Georgia, USA Jul 14, 2006 Poured an orange-tinted gold, with medium head that lingered and gave way to good lacing. Aroma was slightly hopped, with some fruit, but hard to distinguish waht. Flavor was mild and uneventful, almost like a BMC macro. Finish somewhat flat and sour. Not much to this beer.
