Commercial Description:
With a very complex blend of citric fruitness and floral overtones, this beer has a pleasing dry hop taste tht enhances its already stellar drinkability. A favorite among many whom appreciate the finer Pale Ales. Brewed at Sudwerk for ReaperAle.

22 oz. bottle on 10/22/06. Wonderful looking beer that’s a deep gold with a well structured off white head and some excellent lace. Hoppy aroma of citrus complemented by caramel and grain. Body is medium with a resinous character. Flavor echoes the aroma with caramel, roasted grain, and grapefruit bitterness that extends into a lengthy finish.

Poured an murky orange with a lacing, clumpy white head. Aroma was excellent, I poured it and walked away and could smell the piney, sticky hops five feet away. Initial flavor is crisp and clean, citrus and slightly malty. Bitter finish that’s slightly acidic in the throat.

Pours deep copper color with a massive head that subsided into a soft white lingering pillow. Nice floral aroma of grapefruit, and citrus. Flavor was caramel and biscuit malts. Mouthfeel was dry and astringent. Had a very solvent like aftertaste that I didn’t care for. Hop flavor was bold, and bitterness was strong and up front, but I couldn’t get past the hotness this beer exhibited.

I found a bomber of this at Benz Beverage Depot in Cedar Rapids, IA. They also had some other different west coast brews. The beer poured with a medium copper body and a thick white colored head. The aroma was strong grapefruit with some caramel. There was also some toast and a little bit of flowers. The taste was caramel with some toasted almonds. There were also some grapefruit rinds. The soft mouthfeel made this very easy to drink. A very good APA.

Thanks to ( realale420 ) for this beer. Pours a medium amber with nice lasting frothy head and good lacing. Aroma of light hops and malt. Nicely balanced. Flavor is a slightly dry mix of hops, citrus, and malts.

Green Flash tasting @ RFD’s: Pours to a clear pale amber-orange colored body, darker than the Green Flash Extra Pale Ale, with a medium white head head that sticks to the glass. The aroma is a well-rounded mix of citrus, lemon zest, fresh, juicy hops, that gives you a clear idea what the term "dry-hopping" means. Taste is bitter hops, intense leafy-green grass, floral, citrus, and lemon hops, with some bitter spice present alongside some faint flavors of pale malt and biscuit.

Poured from a 22oz bomber a golden amber color with an off-white head. Aroma was full of citrus hops with a mixing of malts and just a touch of caramel. Flavor pretty much followed suit with the aroma, good citrus hop flavor with a bit of bitterness in the end, a bit of malt comes through the hops and just a touch of caramel flavor is present.
