Fresh green piny hoppy aroma has a light caramel malty presence. Starts With a pleasant light sweetness and good crisp hoppy balance toward a smooth, very drinkable finish. Makes a nice, flavorful session beer. iowaherkeye (1856), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2006 22oz bomber, no date. Pours a clear orange copper with a large off-white head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit (had a lot like this today), a little dust, and that’s about it. Taste is much the same with moderate bitterness. Not really much going on in the malt realm. Medium bodied, moerate carbonation. Fairly typical for a West Coast Pale, though still pretty good. heykevin (1269), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2006 Lightly citric hop aroma. A bit earthy, a bit of tangerine. Medium light body, moderate-strong bitterness. Lightly sweet, very citric throughout. Hop flavor is okay, bright, but not overly exciting, bordering on weedy. PErfectly fine, but nothing exciting. The flavor is heavily bitter, moderately sweet with a long, moderately bitter, lightly sweet finish. The body is medium, the texture is velvety and the carbonation is lively. Not extremely engaging, but solid. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 30, 2006 Pours clear copper with a moderate white head, good retention. Aroma is Cascade-ish hops, nice and citrusy. Taste is resiny hops, full and spicy. Good balance against sweet malt flavor. Quite bitter on the tongue, very long bitter and piney finish. Not incredibly complex but well made. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA
