Commercial Description:
With a very complex blend of citric fruitness and floral overtones, this beer has a pleasing dry hop taste tht enhances its already stellar drinkability. A favorite among many whom appreciate the finer Pale Ales. Brewed at Sudwerk for ReaperAle.

Bomber. With the future of this line up in the air, I figured I better snatch some up while I can. Mildly hazy amber with an off white head. Big grapefruit nose, some caramel, hints of orange and lemon candy. Nice lace rings! Sweet thick caramel and grapefruit flavors, some light sour candy notes. Pretty big and bitter for an APA. Finish is a well rounded bitter. Very good.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Vienna. Pours hazy amber with a retentive white head. Boy, what a floral and piney hop aroma. Rich texture. Man,this is one hoppy pale ale. BItter citrus hops dominate the flavor on this, but there is a caramel malt backbone hiding behind the hops. Dry, grassy, and extremely bitter finish. I doubt this is an APA on paper, because this thing, true to Reaper form, is little hop bomb. Unbalanced and one dimensional, but I am sure that was the intention. Since I am a hop head, I don’t mind. If you want a mega hop bomb, try the Sleighor IIPA.

22-ounce bottle. Poured a deep gold with a white head and hoppy aroma. Light-to-medium body, hop-over-malt flavor balance, early hop bitterness with mellow hoppy flavor and even dry/sweet malt character. Crisp and clean - nice.

Bottle. Poured slightly cloudy amber witha small to average, white head that faded to almost nothing but still laced a little. The aroma was moderately malty with moderate pine and grapefruit hops. The initial flavor was noderate to heavy sweetness with light bitter hops. It finished with moderate hop bitterness. Great balance between the malt and hops. The palate was medium with a slightly metallic finish with a touch of alcohol. This one was just like all the other Reaper Ales, great. I only wish the aroma was a little stronger.

Pours hazy orange / gold with a soapy beige head that gives nice lacing. The aroma is quite hoppy - floral, citric and light pine. It is pretty well balanced as well. Medium body with very subdued, yet noticable, carbonation. Flavor starts with pine and floral hops and some grapefruit and woodiness. The finish adds some crisp spice, but the wood shows through most. The flavor does not come off as balanced as the aroma did. Very nice hop heavy pale ale.

22 oz bottle from liquorama.com
The body is a lightly hazy gold color and supports a two finger thick white head that is fluffy and craggy atop and comprised of fairly large bubbles when viewed from the side.
Aroma is hop first with grapefruit, orange and then some lightly sweat bread-like malt comes through.
Fore is actually a bit thin for all the intimidating name. Hops are again a big player, but they aren’t crazy and are mostly lightly citric rather than piney. Light bready malts through the middle. Finish is bitter. Pretty narrow flavor range really. Sweet bread and citric hops are all I really get.

Bottle shared by nolankowal. Didnt get as much out of this as the other at the tasting. Aroma seemed like the hops were muted. Sweet caramel backbone with very little citrus hops coming through. To me it seemed like the bottle was a little past its prime but maybe not.
