| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 13, 2006 Lovely aroma of citrus and hops. Flavour is grassy with light malt background. A tad dry, but there is some residual sweetness to balance the hops. I loved it. TheBeerCollector (548), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Nice hoppiness in the flavor and aroma with a hint of malts to balace. I wish they sold this in 6 packs. SDalkoholic (1196), Chula Vista, California, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 8, 2004 What a head on this sucker let me tell you. Very thick and fluffy that will stick around plus leaving lace all over the place. This is a very bitter PA with hops and citrus which could of used more malts to make it reach equilibrium. It is what it is and its enjoyed by me. Cheers RCWCPACFP (102), New Jersey, USA

In this price range I think I will back off and go get a Clipper City that will give me my hop fix. Yes it is fruity (that’s good) but not intimidating at all. VENOM (941), Connecticut, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 14, 2002 Misty orange. Thin, sticky white head. Sparse carbonation. Pleasing aroma of bread and cookie dough malts topped with citric hops. Malty to the extreme with heaps of doughy, chewy malts. Medium thick body. Honeyed tea sweetness. Citric rind hoppiness is near perfectly blended and allows the malts to shine, even ice cold. Yeast pour thickens the pasty head. Adds a mild powdery cocoa taste. Such a mellow, soft and laid back pale ale. Tons of malts and enough hop balance to keep you smiling. Finishes with an orange pekoe tea bitterness and a lessening of the malt thickness. The balanced flavor lingers on the palate for an eternity. Reaper deserves your undying attention. maxhits (172), Pico Rivera, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 20, 2002 This 5.4% alcohol by volume pale ale pours with a hazy, orange-caramel color and produces a peach-colored and very stiff foam head. In the nose, this ale is flowery, with a hint of apricot fruit and light diacyl butteriness. In flavor, this dry-hopped beer does present some stone fruit flavor, a great deal of woodiness, and it ends very dry with a lingering bitter finish. Brewed by Bayhawk Ales, Inc., of Irvine, California.
