Commercial Description:
While the style of this Strong Blonde Ale is non-specific it has an overall profile that closely resembles a Blonde Bock by having some characteristic traits of a Pre-Prohibition Pilsner and the strength of a Malt Liquor. The unique traits of this beer are the pleasingly fruity aromas of apricot and passion fruit that give way to honey flavors, a subtle hint of corn liquor, and a lightly spicy but cleansing hop finish. What is Inevitable about this ale is that the deceptively higher alcohol content (7.1% ABV) is sure to affect its imbiber. Brewed at Sudwerk for ReaperAle.

Bomber. Nice deep golden in color with a thick white head. Aroma is sweet honey. Hoppy and fruity flavor. Spicey citrusy hop notes. Smooth. Finish is peppery. Peppery yeasty mouthfeel. Sweet tasting. Medium bodied. Nice beer

Bomber. Gold with a decent sized white head. Aroma is boldly pronounced clover honey. Taste is dusty with spicy hops and a big boozy kick. Smooth until the peppery finish kicks in. Saison-ish in the pepper taste and mouthfeel. Somewhat sweet with the corn flavor which deters from what could be a decent American rendition of the style.

Honey, musty aroma with some grass. Cloudy, pale and gold in color. Rich flavor, yet light, citric, yet soft, tingly, yet smooth. Not as honey soaked as a maibock, just a nice quaffer. Very interesting, and tasty.

A very interesting beer. Gold in color and light in body but with a strong fruity character. Almost belgian in the amount of yeast flavors. A small amount of hops are used but nothing compared to the rest of the Green Flash line up.

Bottle: Very complex, full bodied beer. Taste is fruity, fry and hoppy with a nice underlying bitterness. Leaves the palate with a clean sensation and dry aftertaste. Taste is full of fruit, heffe, bitter-sweetness, a real surprise. Very recommendable.

Gorgeous golden colour, fruity, slightly esthery aroma, mixed with lots of biscuit malt. Interesting flavour, not quite Belgian, not quite German, but a nice confluence of the 2 regions. A bit like a Helles Bock, but again, not quite. It’s great to see beers that refuse to fit into one narrow style. All in all a very nice beer. Very drinkable.
