Commercial Description:
While the style of this Strong Blonde Ale is non-specific it has an overall profile that closely resembles a Blonde Bock by having some characteristic traits of a Pre-Prohibition Pilsner and the strength of a Malt Liquor. The unique traits of this beer are the pleasingly fruity aromas of apricot and passion fruit that give way to honey flavors, a subtle hint of corn liquor, and a lightly spicy but cleansing hop finish. What is Inevitable about this ale is that the deceptively higher alcohol content (7.1% ABV) is sure to affect its imbiber. Brewed at Sudwerk for ReaperAle.

Bought this bottle at Windmill Farms in San Diego. A nice blonde color, decent lacing. Aroma was sweet, fruity. Flavor was bold, but not overly hoppy. Strong alcohol burn going down. Pretty decent brew.

After the cap is removed from the brown 22-ounce bottle, and the beer properly poured into a nice room temperature glass it appears a luminous gold, the head is portly and the texture creamy, bright white is the color, as the head fades into nothingness, the lace forms a tight girdle to conceal the glass. I smell a wee bit of hops at the front, the middle is sweet with malt & honey, the end is crisp and clean to the senses, start is quite sweet, the grain presence adequate and the top light to moderate in its feel to the palate. Finish is benignly acidic, the hops diligent in their spiciness, dry aftertaste, a quite nice brew tis true.

Bottle from DarkElf. Pours out a clear, golden color with a moderate amber touch. Very nice white head forms and lingers for a bit, fading slowly to a ring and broken layer. Fantastic lacing is left behind, this comes close to hitting a 5 for appearance. Aroma is a bit fruity, a touch of bananna and pear. This does have some characteristics of malt liquors and that is a bit disturbing. Medium bodied and a bit coating. Flavor is on the sweetish side until the middle/finish. A brief burst of hot alcohol seems to come to fore and then fade away. Some esters in the beginning. A fair beer, interesting and posessing some unique qualities but a bit disjointed.

The nose upfront smelled like bubble gum then dissipated to malt. The flavor profile consisted of slight fruity nuts and malt. Texture was very smooth indeed. Alcohol is well hidden. An interesting brew worth mention.

Tap. Pours to a golden glowing body with a thin white head. The aroma is dried Turkish apricots, passion fruit, asian pears. The initial flavor is passion fruit, pineapple, and the finish is a toffee and honey. Very unique. The palate is medium-bodied and slick.

22 oz. bottle from BevMo LaJolla. Pours an orangey-tinged goden color, clear with a creamy withe head and intricate lace. Sweet fruity/malty aroma, peach, yeast, grass and floral hops. Very sweet and comple flavor, fruity with apricot, a hint of honey, yeast, basil and marjoram along with floral hops. Ful body, smooth and creamy carbonation. I seem to like this one more than most others. I found it to be interesting and flavorful.
