A sweet stout aroma, with caramel, roasted malts and a hint of lactose. Fairly thin in feel, but not watery. Straight forward flavors of roasted nuts, mild coffee, pale malts and a touch of roasted malt. Dry finish with a mild burnt linger. A quaffable stout. Lacks depth for me. Coffee taste does not have the burnt bitter of a stout. It’s masked by a vanilla sweetness. Smoky on the finish. argo0 (7035), Washington DC, USA
