| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 3, 2006 Bottle from DarkElf. Pours a clear, deep ruby color. Nice sized off-white head and great lacing. Aroma is a touch weird, vegetal? catty? Blend of malt and hop in the nose just isn’t working. Flavor initially is sweet, with a ton of caramel malt showing, a touch of chocolate malt? Ample bitterness towards the finish. A bit disjointed. Dorwart (1814), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2006 Large, beige head of pretty fine bubbles. Kind of frothy on top. Nice hoppy aroma. Succulent. Lots of spruce and flowers. And citrus too. Seems to have it all in there. Awesome color. Dark ruby red with light carbonation. Nice hoppy flavor. Good bitterness that make the mouth salivate for more. Little bit of roasted grains and a hint of black cherry in the background. Little fruit hidden in there. Finish is dry and puckering from the bitternes. A really good and hoppy amber ale. I am going to have to get more of these. 1FastSTi (2560), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA

The aroma is a nice dry-hopped amarillo. The flavor is Munich malt with nice light amarillo hops. Pretty blended and hard to pick things apart. The palate is carbonated, medium-full bodied, velvety. Great. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA
