Bottle back from VA during T-day break. Pours a clear copper color with a playful offwhite head. Aroma is floral, caramel, and toasted grain. Finish is a surprising bitter hop one. Before that though you get some fruit and wheat like grain flavors.

Bottle says brewed & bottled by Reaper Ales in El Monte, CA. New bottling. Pours hazy brown red with a thin offwhite head, good lace. Smells slightly red fruity, malty sweet with a light earthy hop aroma. Tastes the same. Sweet and fruity malts with a bit of earthy and citrusy hop flavor as well. Medium body, good carbonation.

either they are starting to make this again (bottles are showing up everywhere) or bockyhorsey is trying to kill me... very rich dark amber color with a soft light tan head and lacing that pretty much paints the glass. malty aroma with some sweet fruit, raisins, citrus, grass, light spiciness and some pine. unfortunately, the flavor is a watered down version of the aroma with a dry lightly bitter finish. medium body with nice carbonation and a soft texture.

This bottle is at least a year and a half old. Pure ruby red body with a nice white head. A slight citrus aroma with a bit of malt backing. Taste is very smooth, somewhat sweet with nice accents of roasted caramel, and light fruits. Ending is very smooth, effervescent actually. Very enjoyable.

bottle - aroma was a combination of an oxidized, weak barleywine and body odor. not pleasant. very thin body with a slight malt flavor. bubbly mouthfeel. finishes with some toastiness and a mild hop bite. nothing horribly wrong with the beer, just very boring and mundane.

Hopped up amber with a distincyly dry bitter finish that lingers well after the drink is gone. The initial flavors were floral hopping, caramel roasted just right, and honey(?) Mainly I liked the bitter, bitter lingering finish best of all.

Good looking pour, a deep ruby body with a sustained head of good size. The aroma contained orchard fruit, caramel, and a floral hopping that increased as it warmed. Oddly, there was a small touch of chocolate added to the flavor. It finished on a sturdy, bitter floral note that lingered for a long time.
