The aroma contained orchard fruit, caramel, and a floral hopping that increased as it warmed. Oddly, there was a small touch of chocolate added to the flavor. It finished on a sturdy, bitter floral note that lingered for a long time.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 8, 2007 Nice caramel and sugar aroma. Pour was a deep amber with a thin ring for a head. Taste was like iced tea with a malt backbone and a nice somewhat hoppy dry aftertaste. One of the better ambers I’ve had dmac (1492), Toms River, New Jersey, USA

This was decent - I’ve seen it on tap a few times and never ordered one, if that tells you anything. Not much to say other than it wasn’t good enough for me to drink twice. But there was nothing notably wrong with the beer...still deserving of a try. Try the Mortality or Ritual if you get a chance. bu11zeye (5603), Frisco, Texas, USA
