bottle - Pours light gold with a one finger white head. It smells of grainy malt and some hops. The flavor is mild bready malt and hops that finishes with a light bitterness. It’s light bodied and maybe a little watery, but not too bad. Some decent hops and balance makes it better than many of the cheap euro lagers, but Pilsner Urquell it’s not.

Dec 17, 2009 Review relative to style. Pours pale golden color with beautiful large & creamy white head. Nose is light with a whiff of hops. Very light malt flavor with light balancing of hops. Extremely refreshing and drinkable, and far superior to U.S. comparables.

Nov 26, 2009 Corny nose. Golden with a medium white head, good lacing. Metallic and grainy. Harsh mouthfeel, minty grass finish, at times like toothpaste. Not very good, but at least it did have some flavor.

Nov 16, 2009 Bottle into a footed pilsner. Pours apple juice clear with a thick frothy meringue and popcorn ball head. The aroma is extremely light and clean and the flavor is a dash of sweet malty hay with slight hop fruitiness. There is an apparent graininess and a dash of metal if you search for it.

Nov 15, 2009 Ho hum pils. name Rebel is perhaps a bit melodramatic. In any case, a drinkable pils of no special attributes. Head is white and a bit of lace. Color is a clear yelllow. Aroma is crisp, yet slightly malty and hoppy, & beery. Flavor is about the same. Average body and carbonation. Ditto finish. Ok beer. If it had a different name, I’m sure I’d have a better opinion. Just me. sorry. Rebel YELL!

Oct 28, 2009 Pours gold with a nice sized white head. Aroma is toasty bready malts. Flavor is light bready malts, with some earthy metallic hop flavor. Ok.

Oct 28, 2009 A middle of the road euro pils. Nothing special to write home about, but will do the trick on a hot day. Kinda metallic, not especially bitter on the finish, but not too sweet up front. Kind of one dimensional. Nothing wrong with it, but I not going to go seek it out.
