(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a fluffy white foamy head. Moderately sweet (cara-)malty and strawy aroma with a tinge of draff and herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy malty base with faint notes of cara-malt; rather medium-dry malt-accented finish with a delicate hoppy bitterness. Easy-going Landbier but a Franconian Hausbrauerbier which is non-perishable for over 8 months is rather ridiculous. 02.XI.09

Bottle from Kappldav123, thanks! Amber color. Flowery earthy biscuitaroma. Malty biscuity flowery soft hopbitter flavor with hints of pear and plum. Very well balanced.

The bottle looks strange, the only label on it looks like a backlabel, but has all infos. Looks good in the glass, deep golden, huge head. Starts hoppy-strong, a bit grasy. Finish shows malty and dry notes, almost like a dunkel. Round finish, very drinkable. Good beer!

bottle, labelled Alt-Hausbrauerbier, received from Bierzwerg. Clear copper colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty nose. Malty, hints of caramel and some rather shy hops. Pleasant and clean beer with a rural character. I am convinced it is not an Altbier...

Bottled. Copper coloured, small white head. Aroma is grass, hops, malts and soem earth. Flavour is bigtime grass, some hay and a bit saltwater. Some very earthy notes are also there. Refreshing, but a bit borting.

Bottled (BB 02/2008)
Copper brown color, small white head. Roasted toffee and grass in the nose, a bit cheap aroma. Grassy, papery, dry papery-hoppy aftertaste. Light toffee notes.
