Brown with a nice, dense head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour has sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel and a slightly bitter finish. It’s OK, but ordinary and easy to forget.

Draugh in Bamberg. Sweet caramel to start, with slightly nutty chaarcters towards the end. Some light grassyness from the hops manages to come through in the finish. A very decent, drinkable dunkel.

Bottle. Dark chestnut, bic foamy lacing cappucino head. Honeyish roasted malt, caramel plus light hop aromatics. Disappointingly light body and a rather flat flavor profile. Metallic roast and hop bitterness on light sugary malt. Flat mouthfeel. Rust and burned sugar retronasal.
