omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 15, 2008 Draught at Ladgasthof Leicht, Kemmern. Clear golden, small head. Resiny grassy nose. medium dry with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Not a lot of bitterenss. Very anonumous and lacking the beautiful malt character of most Franconian beers. Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 Light-golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of malt and flower. The flavour is slightly malty with notes of caramel and crisp, floral hops, citrus and a nice bitterness. It’s refreshing and charming. mmather (112), Colorado, USA Apr 24, 2008 from a 500ml bottle. nice Bavarian pils, but nothing really exceptional here. Average aroma and hop profile and not much else. A bit over carbonated as well. Miksu (1253), Jyväskylä, Finland Oct 12, 2007 0.5 l bottle. Golden color with diminishing head. Honeyish and flowery aroma. Dryish, malty and cardboardy flavor with hints of herbal hops. MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Oct 3, 2007 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a moderate foamy white head, leaving lace-work. The aroma is not very different to the Lager Hell: slightly sweet, a bit buttery and nutty nose with a light dose of herbal hops. Light bitter flavour, rather malt-accented taste with a touch of cardboard and a moderate to light herbal note in the background. Dryish malty and slightly bitter finish with a bit of hops-character coming through. All in all nothing special and rather disappointing by Franconian standards.
