Commercial Description:
We take great care in producing our hard cider from the finest ingredients available and we are sure you will enjoy our version of this timeless classic. During the middle ages this would have been called a ’cyser’ and not a cider. Produced from 50% apple juice and 50% honey it is perhaps the mother of modern hard cider. Just slightly sweet, with a full body and terrific crisp apple aroma.

Yellow with a fizzy white head and champagne carbonation. Apple cider and slight lemon and honey aroma and taste.

Dunno. Little ammonia and green apple aroma. Pale yellow. Meh. Very light, more honey than apple, finishes dry.

Bottle from the Coop in Davis, CA. Bright, clear golden color with small bubbles. Aroma is rather like golden apples. Medium body at least with mild carbonation. It is clean and refreshing. It’s apple with a little spice. Finish is a bit apple skin. Not getting much honey, and there’s just enough sugar for refreshment. Might be the best cider I’ve had.

The aroma is cider like with a touch of honey but very watery and weak. The appearance is super pale with a thin head which is OK for the style. The flavor is funky with cider and honey as well as yeast. The palate is smooth. It’s a mixed bag but it’s not that good from a company that makes great mead.
