Red Brick Ale

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale brown color with a very small quickly vanishing head. It has a nice caramel and malt aroma. It has a strong chocolate taste and also tastes of nut and caramel. I’m not sure that this beer is typical of the style but I really enjoyed it.

Poured a brown color with a faint malt nose.Typically these are sweet and nutty.Not this one.The caramel was there but not really sweet and no nuttiness.It was average.

Pour from bottle...Nice reddish brown color...Aroma of malts...Flavor of dry bread with just a hint of brown sugar. A very basic but very drinkable brown ale.

A decent brown ale with a good malt profile. Caramel and toast, mostly. Not a bad brown ale.

Draft @ redlight redlight. Malty aromas, caramelly, some toffee and nutty aromas as well. Pours more of an amber color than brown, dark amber you can definitely see through it. Not bad flavor though, toasty, nutty, with caramel, and hints of slightly roasted malts. Not too shabby.

Bottle. The pour yields a clear copper colored body with a foamy beige head. Tattered swaths of lace coat the glass well. The aroma is sweet and caramelly, with a hazelnut overtone and some roasty cocoa notes. A touch of earthy grassiness lends a bit of a hop bite, though it remains malt driven. Flavors follow suit, quite nutty and toasty, with notes of crusty bread and dried cocoa. A decent hop punch balances things out on the finish. Medium bodied and balanced on the tongue, the palate matches the brew well, showing some semi-dry roast on the finish. Not a bad little brown ale here. Not great, but not bad.

Faint hop aroma along with an unbalanced chocolate flavor. Seems like a very haphazardly concoction that does not make any sense whatsoever.

On tap at Nashville’s Music City Brew Festival. Just off amber color. Pretty simple and not much to say about this one.
