$1.19 single at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Hey! Fourth of July! Time to head out and celebrate with all your best buds! Is that what you’re all up to? Out and celebrating with your best buds? Having a good time? Appearance: Pours a crystal clear amber body with an off-white head. Smell: Toffee and nuts with a dusting of dry cocoa and a vague fruitiness. Taste: Caramel-coated nuts with just a little bit of bittersweet cocoa and fruit. That dry cocoa flavor really carries over into the finish along with some meager hops. Overall, the flavor reminds me of the nuts contained within a box of Cracker Jacks. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Mild carbonation. Drinkability: After all these many long years, I’d really like to see something exciting and new from Atlanta Brewing Company, especially now that the brewery has new ownership and a new brewing facility. There, I said it, and you know what? It felt good. Its good to be honest.

This beer done by competent brewers would be good. This had an awful diacetyl and lactic tang. Ugh!

This beer is misleading. It smells pretty fruity, and has a nice color to it. A dark brown, which is fitting when labeling the beer as a brown ale. The ABV is pretty decent. The palate is smooth, and actually pretty creamy. The one major problem with this beer is it’s flavor. It does not match up to its palate, aroma, or apperance. I don’t know what else to say about this beer. This beer was great until I actually tasted it. This beer was okay, but I would not ever want to try it again, once is enough.

Ruby brown, thin tan head. Nose is juicy malt, cocoa, some dark fruit. Flavor is cocoa, malt, some caramel. Dusty malt & caramel finish.

Pours dark amber to brown, with a mostly receding tan head. Aroma of nuts, toffee, brown bread, and lightly sweet crystal. Taste is nicely malty with a balanced helping of brown, toasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation. Better than remembered.

A handsome brew, that’s for sure. Amber tending toward black, with a nice cream head. Tastes of caramel with a slight undercurrent of biscuit and toffee. Not great, but quite passable

Bottle. Poured a dark amber with a thin off-white head that fizzed off quickly. The aroma was subdued but some malts were picked up. The flavor was of sweet malts, mainly caramel. Medium body and a dry texture.

12oz bottle via trade with zathrus13 - Thanks Jeff! - Pours cloudy brown with a fair tan head that stays well and laces the glass. Aromas of caramel malts, some nuts, and maybe a touch of chocolate. Flavor is caramel, nuts, a little toffee, and slight hops on the finish. Palate is smooth and creamy and medium bodied... I actually found this one pretty interesting for a brown..
