12 oz bottle, via Goldtwins. Pours a light mahogany with a finger sized off-white head. Sweet buttery aroma with lighter notes of toffee. Sweet caramel malt flavor with a buttery finish. Minimal bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with low fine bubbled carbonation. Overall, I just can’t get past the lingering butter flavor that is all over this beer. A thumbs down on this one.

Multiple tastings - some draft and some bottle. This is sort of a conglomeration of those notes. Ambery ruddy pour, clear, with a small head. Caramel malt nose with some citrus hop notes. Malty flavors, somewhat sweet, again with some citrusy hop notes. Biscuity finish. Decent

Bottle. Points for looks and originality. Negative points for complexity and character. Red brown color. Nice malty taste. A tad sweet. Reminds me of cherry flavors.

Pours with an amber body topped by a medium thick to thick head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet yet bitter and slightly smokey with a slight hoppiness and a little fruit. Medium bodied, slightly dry and smooth.

Bottle acquired in trade with goldtwins. Poured a dark and see through copper color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of nuts, caramel and light toffee. Tastes of caramel, light oranges and ctirus. Light to medium sweet finish.

beer pours a slightly hazy orange-tinted red, with an ok off-white head that laces pretty well. nose is sweet and nutty, with caramel overtones. flavor starts sweet and ends hoppy - a nice earthy, tobacco-like hop. very nicely balanced beer, and quite easy to drink.

Bottle, courtesy of jeffc666. Dark ruby brown body with a fluffy tan head. Nose is nutty and sweet with big caramel notes and light cocoa. Taste is also nutty and bittersweet. There’s some spicy hoppiness along with caramel, light toffee-ish notes, raw peanuts and malt. Body is medium and creamy with light carbonation feel. Rather smooth beer. Finishes with more sweetness and caramel. Light hoppiness and spicy notes. Minimal nuttiness. Not bad.

This was decent. Not too exciting or spectacular but the aroma was pretty sweet. I got some raisins and cashews, mixed with some light carmel and red apple with cinnamon or nutmeg in the aroma of this glowing reddish gold thin ale. The flavor was not as impressive, nor the palate. Went down thin and watery with some of the carmel and butty flavors but all in all it needed some more body before it could compete.
