Sweet buttery aroma with lighter notes of toffee. Sweet caramel malt flavor with a buttery finish. Minimal bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with low fine bubbled carbonation. Overall, I just can’t get past the lingering butter flavor that is all over this beer. A thumbs down on this one. beeryum (652), Norcross, Georgia, USA

This is sort of a conglomeration of those notes. Ambery ruddy pour, clear, with a small head. Caramel malt nose with some citrus hop notes. Malty flavors, somewhat sweet, again with some citrusy hop notes. Biscuity finish. Decent jrob21 (1277), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Red brown color. Nice malty taste. A tad sweet. Reminds me of cherry flavors. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA

Nose is nutty and sweet with big caramel notes and light cocoa. Taste is also nutty and bittersweet. There’s some spicy hoppiness along with caramel, light toffee-ish notes, raw peanuts and malt. Body is medium and creamy with light carbonation feel. Rather smooth beer. Finishes with more sweetness and caramel. Light hoppiness and spicy notes. Minimal nuttiness. Not bad. I got some raisins and cashews, mixed with some light carmel and red apple with cinnamon or nutmeg in the aroma of this glowing reddish gold thin ale. The flavor was not as impressive, nor the palate. Went down thin and watery with some of the carmel and butty flavors but all in all it needed some more body before it could compete.
