| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 13, 2006 12 oz bottle, in person trade with Wunderbier (Habersham Beverage on Habersham, Savannah GA, April 2006), served at cellar temperature in a Unibroue glass. Very clear blonde with a moderate white quick-dying head leaving little residue in the glass....honey, light almonds and faint crisp grassy notes in the low-strength aroma....body is clean and refreshing, fairly sweet at first with growing dry hoppiness towards the finish, a bit of smoky/burnt malt character, toasted caramel and a somewhat strong mineralic/meteallic note that is near-overpowering....rather syrupy, thick body with somewhat low carbonation. Not terribly successful overall. MullMan (1086), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA
