KieferUGA (310), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 12, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a faint, light yellow. Medium sized, bubbly white head. Sharp malt aroma with a hint of honey. Flavor has a bit of a peppery bite. Mostly grassy flavors throughout. Nice beer for a hot summer day.
BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Aug 10, 2008 This beer was not one of my favorites. Too light bodied on the palate, some light citrus and pepper spice, with a bit of honey sweet maltiness, with a dirty minerality with the finish of every sip. illinismitty (1397), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Aug 6, 2008 Bottle from Ross. Pours a hazy golden with a two fingers airy white head. Lemon and toasty malt aroma. Light bodied. Flavor of pale malt and honey that is quickly overpowered by the hops (noble?), and they don’t work for me on this beer. Slight citrus notes on the finish with the grassy, dried herb, tea like bitterness lingering (and not in a good way) MaltOMeal (270), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA Aug 5, 2008 12oz bottle thanks to TheBeerCellar. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a huge white head. nose if of wheat, lemon and some spice. Mouthfeelwas medium with lots of carbonation and a sour aftertaste. ross (1511), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Jul 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours out a light yellow color without much of a head. Smell is yeasty and sweet. Some hops, not many, but they are there. The taste is light, easy to drink, kind of sweet. Very crisp and refreshing. Not bad really, and it makes for a good summer beer. Not as good as the infected hefe was though.
