I honestly get more coffee than chocolate in this. Coffee, toasted malts with a good mouthfeel. Good brew.

Big chocolate nose, some vanilla, light coffee notes, roasted malts on the nose. Pours very dark amber, brown with a thin off white head. Chocolate malts, mildly roasted malts, weak coffee, milk chocolate. Not bad but still kind of weak.

355 mL courtesy of dkachur! Pours a deep cola-like ruby with a two-finger, dark tan, creamy head that has pretty good retention and leaves some spotty lacing. Aroma is sweat, maple and brown sugar oatmeal, raw cane sugar. Taste is raw cane sugar, cheap coffee. Moderately creamy on the palate. Sweet, milk chocolate finish. 7.7% is well hidden.

I wouldnt want to take credit for the picture of this beer on ratebeer. looks like there was a ghost in front of the label. anyways this beer pours a deep brown with a tan head. notes of coffee, chocolate. crisp and clean. a little bitter on the finnish. some bread. this was really good. not as good as that wake n bake terrapin i just had. or that weed. but it was good nonetheless. although order bias could be coming into play. Thanks santa justin for this beer

12 oz. bottle. Deep red mahogany, cafe au lait colored head of medium size, finely reticulated lace. Coffee and chocolate as advertised, vanilla, and roasted nuts round out a well developed aroma. Medium to full body, gentle carbonation smooth, velvety mouthfeel and a pleasing dry palate. Several layers of flavor starting with a rich, malty sweetness that gives way to a slightly astringent roast malt bitterness, and finally a peppery hop bite at the finish. Very nice.

Pours a dark black color with a small, foamy tan colored head that leaves rings of lace around the glass. The aroma shows dark chocolate, oatmeal, roasted malts, and some earthy hops. The flavor follows with the dark chocolate showing strongly along with the roasted malts and coffee. Some earthy hops lend bitterness on the backend. Medium bodied, smooth and creamy with a lengthy roasty finish. Pretty nice porter, but nothing crazy.

(12oz bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a medium creamy beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, caramel, toffee, roasted malt, coffee, and light nuttiness. Flavor of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and hops (grassy) with a bitter finish.
